Do you plan to visit Primošten, the heart of the Mediterranean? Excellent choice!

In order to get the full experience of what the Mediterranean really is, you have to try our dinning.

It means a lot more than just a meal. You will experience the true spirit of the Mediterranean, only if you surrender to the pleasure of food which in Dalmatia we call kuzinavanje, a word of Italian origin, meaning la arte culinaria.

To begin with, we would like to present domestic farm food products, and there is no better and healthier food than domestic goat cheese gratin and prosciutto.

When you have mastered the farm, it is time to sail into the sea... Try our octopus alla Mediterranean, do not miss the bouillabaisse soup and delicious pasta shells. Enjoy the Fisherman's Broth and delicious fish stew with homemade tomato salsa.

If, however, you prefer meat, you will not resist our steaks: the prime Black Angus rib steak, T-bone steak and, of course, lamb chops Frenched racked up. There is also a dessert. Strawberries with mascarpone and homemade semifreddo will make you happy.

Pero Savanović - World Master Chef

"Hedonism without gastronomy would be like a body without soul!" Pero Savanović

Pero Savanovic is one of the five Master chefs in Croatia, run by the World Master Chefs Society, which was founded in 1947 by Jean Conil, the French chef at Buckingham Palace. The main objective of this association with branches all over the world is promotion of fine cooking and maintaining the highest standards in every aspect of food production. The selection criteria are very strict and the decision is taken by the committee and the president, on the basis of evaluation of previous work of each chef.

Savanovic has over 20 years of experience working with high profile clients. He has also won gold medals at many national and international competitions, preparing dishes of authentic Croatian foods, such as olive oil, fish, Dalmatian salt or truffle. Chef Savanovic knew from an early age that his true passion was cooking.

"I have always played with pots, even knives, as all in my family are Bonkulović and my late grandfather was a butcher. Immediately after primary school I went to the hotel "Park" in Split, Croatia to be the hotel’s apprentice. I was working under extremely talented and strict chefs such as my mentor chef Marija Lulić who taught me a lot”, says Savanovic.

After graduating from School of Tourism, where, due to exceptional talent, he did not have to take the final exams, in 1992 Savanovic went to Germany. There he worked as a chef in Italian restaurants and in German restaurants, additionally, he was training and updating his skills in preparing meat stakes. For a year he worked as a chef at hotel “Esplanade” in Wegberg, Germany, where he cooked for famous people and celebrities such as Jarno Trulli, a former Formula One racing driver from Italy.

Savanovic teaches at the Academy of Cooking, established by the Chefs Association of Mediterranean and European Regions (SKMER). Also, he is one of the founders of “Chef Club Croatia”, an organization which participates in many competitions, trainings and the promotion of Croatian gastronomy in general.

In Croatia, Savanovic prepared meals for all three Croatian presidents and participated in many culinary shows.
